You might be new to racing or already an experienced driver, we provide support at all levels backed by a team of technicians who are led by our Radical racing expert Ben Lane. We cover all classes of Radical sports cars, as well as GT racing and sports prototype cars. Passionate about creating a genuine driver experience, you dictate the level of involvement you want and we will deliver.
New to Racing
At Valour Racing we are all about taking your driving to the next level and experiencing the thrill of motorsport. Working with drivers who are new to the race track, we can provide the right level of support and training you need.
As you would expect there are lots of different elements to consider. All our new drivers will be allocated a mentor, an experienced driver who will guide you through every aspect:
- Selecting the appropriate helmet, race suit and necessary essentials
- Working with you to prepare for your ARDS test, the racing drivers test
- Providing safety information and focus to get you on the track
- Delivering expert tuition to you whilst in the car
- Developing your experience in readiness for racing
- Guiding you through your inaugural racing day
- Looking ahead to the rest of the season to provide an individual racing plan
Experienced Driver
If you already have your racing licence and want to increase performance on the race track, let us help you. We are focused on achieving a great all-round result. This means making sure your car is maintained in racing condition and you having the right level of support so you can concentrate on the driving.
As part of the Valour Racing team, you will be allocated a dedicated technician. They will work with you, listen to feedback, share their racing expertise, and together you agree on what changes need to be made to the car to get the best out of your driving.
In addition, we have a Team Principal, someone who oversees all our drivers. You will have access to an individual who provides another level of expertise, knowledge, experience and who has themselves, driven competitively for over 15 years.
Your safety is our first priority. Each car is allocated a specific technician, someone who is experienced and knowledgeable about your car. At Valour, we appreciate a strong bond is forged between driver and their technician; in this sport, trust is everything.
Technical Support
At our base in Corby, the cars are stored in a purpose-built facility where our technicians have access to the latest diagnostic equipment. After each race, the cars are stripped back, checked, modified, cleaned and rebuilt before being taken back out on the track.
Depending on how many cars are going to the race track, we travel to events in any our 44ft articulated transporters or with our modified van and trailer. You can be sure that whichever option is chosen, these vehicles become our mobile workshop, carrying everything we need to help you perform to your maximum.
Managing our own fleet of transport enables us to carry a selection of cars from our fleet, depending on your requirements and budget. The trailer will carry a single car whilst the lorry has a double deck inside, allowing us to take up to six cars comfortably – once off-loaded we have purpose-built awnings to display and work on the vehicles at the venue.
Trackside, we set up our slide-out office, which contains a data analytics station and a place to sit comfortably and review performance. All the testing, compliance checks, warm-ups and qualifying times are achieved under the watchful eye of Valour’s technicians, using our own facilities.
